Sam's Carry Out Bbq - Valdosta

Sam is the best place to stop for BBQ. I have been to hundreds of places in the South and in the USA, and Sam's is easily in the top three. We tried all of the sides and all of the meats, and everything was perfect. The mac and cheese was the best I've ever had, and the ribs and sauces were also excellent. The photos I took do not do the food justice. To top it off, Sam offers incredibly friendly, welcoming service that you just can't find anywhere else. I highly, highly recommend this place to everyone. You can't go wrong with the delicious BBQ at Sam's.

Very friendly service, excellent bbq, great sides and huge portions. we have the 2 flesh 2 side plate and it was big! we had sausages (three left grilled three hot dog rolls), ripen (3 or 4 huge bones two slices brot), Mac cheese and baked beans (mixed with ground meat). more than two hungry travelers could share!

As a truck driver who is on the road all day, I stumbled upon this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. From the friendly welcome to the delicious food, it was a fantastic meal. This hidden gem off the interstate is definitely worth a visit in the future.

I typically don't write reviews, but if you happen to find yourself at Sam's, you won't be disappointed. The food was incredibly flavorful and delicious. The portions were generous and satisfying. The pulled pork had a rich taste and was fantastic. The ribs were tender and juicy. The sausage was fresh and flavorful. And the mac and cheese was definitely a standout, complementing every dish perfectly. You won't regret stopping by Sam's.

Stopped by Sam's while passing through Valdosta. This was the absolute best barbecue I have ever had. We walked in and Sam put together an enormous sampler of all his meats and sides. Not one of the options is less than incredible. The BBQ was all perfectly cooked, and Sam's homemade sauce could be enjoyed out of a shot glass. I cannot recommend this place enough and eagerly await my next visit. Sam is clearly a man whose food is his pride and joy, and it shows in the end result.
