Excellent South Indian food, we visited Dravidar for Lunch. We had to wait a bit for seating, but eventually got a table. Food was fresh, excellent fish curry and fried fish. Great service too. Staff are friendly and service minded.

The hotel is located right on the spot- on the most happening place in Velankanni. Good stay with basic facilities. The basilica is just a stone-throw away. But the problem is the parking. You've to use the church parking which is mostly full in nearby location and during the rush-times it's impractical to move out at your will because you may not be able to get back at all. But if you are a large group and are going with a professional driver in a mini-van kind of vehicle I would recommend you to stay here.

Hotel Diravidar is definitely true hospitality in every sense! Thank you to the Team for making it so special!Very near to main basilica which most advantage that we can walk in to the church within 1 minutes I was lucky enough to stay in a Double A/C room, which was incredible, with my family from last 14th Nov to 18th NovThe management and staff are so professional and sincere, the service in restaurant incredible and the food was unbelievable from the break fats to dinner all you get fresh and hot especially fish was unbelievable.I must say the room service and Housekeeping so fast with 10 min food in the room and very helpful staff, also the restaurant and reception team sorry I forget the name We got Rs. 200 food Credit daily which was acceptable in restaurant and room service thanks to management Special thanks goes to Mr.Leon who arranged my booking trough online and it was quick response from him for my very enquiry, especially as I was travel with my one year baby... Once again thanks to Management and Mr. Leon. And looking forward to come again next year…Thank you.Pribin

I have stayed one night at this hotel.. Friendly Staff & hats of to Mr. Leon you're very supportive keep it up.. 2 minutes walk to the church, heart of the town clean & comfort rooms. Very good restaurant veg & non veg, quick room service
