The Grand Thakar Vadodara

Hey, I was a little hesitant to visit this place as I wanted to avoid comparing with grand thaker rajkot where I had the opportunity to visit twice. but I am happy to share my experience here excellent eating. cozy ambiente and very good service. perfect place for food! the menu consisted of basundi, puranpoli veg cutlet, dhokla was really special, made of rajma, very unique. instead of 6 dishes added 2 more! raita /salad court was full of variety. normal menu consisting of chapati, chana, aaloo n veg jaipuri and gaavar, everything was made with full perfection. what was surprising that they had rice and khichdi during lunch n khichdi was also great. when they visit grand thaker for lunch, they avoid their breakfast as I wish I could eat more! please check it yourself! many thanks to a grand thaker team.

Variety of unlimited food in only Rs.300 range. I've eaten once. the menu is different for lunch. good taste tasting in color they served gulab jamun angur basundi in sweets for lunch it was really amazing.

Good seating and decoration, authentic gujarati thali place. a portion of each is enough. rs 250 unlimited. I liked Velmi(sweet roti) most. khichdi was super! gajar halwa was also fantastic. they serve chapati and 3 different curries and daal.

Best gujarati food I have ever tried (I was never a big fan of gujarati eating, but this restaurant changed my mind,) great service, friendly staff, need to visit again and again and not only for gujarati eating, also for punjabi and other kitchen.

Very nice food, polite staff. Overall a nice place to visit with family or friends
