Trattoria Del Camionista - VADO LIGURE

Ritengo che sia uno dei migliori posti che abbia mai trovato in giro. Il cibo è eccezionale, il posto è veramente carino e l'accoglienza è al top! Il proprietario e tutte le ragazze sono cordiali al massimo, è difficile trovare posti dove nonostante il tutto sia esaurito, lavorano con tanta energia e con il sorriso stampato in faccia. Bravo ragazzi! Siamo solo di passaggio, ma torneremo di sicuro!

I had dinner with my son Michele and my friend Angelo in January, before this pandemic started.. the first time there visiting my family In vallo di diano.. everything was fresh and delicious.. typical regional Italian food. Can't wait to return.. the fish is very fresh and typically from the Mediterranean Sea.

The name doesnt tell about the place...i doubt there was a single camionista (trucker) present... Anyway, great simple lunch with freshest ingredients. I absolutely would recommend the place to everyone who likes authentic italian food... I was there with my old Ligurian friend Mario who is a retired camionista...

Visited this place as they told us it was shown on a popular Italian TV show and that it was something special. It's certainly a peculiar place (crowded, noisy and full of memorabilia). Truck drivers do actually eat here too. The quality of the food was OK (not the best fish around) and reasonably tasty, but nothing worth going back for really. Avarage price and portions, certainly not truck driver sizes. I don't think we will return.
