Tugboat Fish Chips Vacaville

The fish is absolutely the best and incredibly fresh! While the service could be better, the delicious food more than makes up for it. I give it 5/5!

I’m currently here, and the customer service is quite disappointing. They mixed up my four orders, swapping rice for chips. The staff member insisted I had only ordered two with rice, but if that were true, why did I receive all fries? She didn’t offer to correct their mistake or even seem concerned that we received no rice at all. I won’t be coming back. The food was mediocre as well, so it's best to save your money.

This was my first time dining here, and I ordered clams and fish. Both dishes were cooked to perfection—neither was greasy, and they tasted fantastic. This experience surpassed most other seafood restaurants I've been to. Food: 5/5.

My family comes here every now and then for the fish and chips, but I get chicken strips. We all love how crispy their batter comes out, other places don't compare for the crunch. Nothing crazy amazing, but a solid food choice if you're craving fish n chips. Whenever people are thinking of ordering fish n chips at another restaurant, we tell them to order something else and promise to take them here the next time we go out.

This place has reliably good fish! And the pricing is fair as well. We have yet to get anything less than a tasty fish meal. The service is OK, and the dining room is just OK as well, but you don't go for that. Just get your fish to go and enjoy it at home!
