It is a very busy location, but that made things interesting, always something to look at and we watched the world go by! The service was a little slow, but the food was fine with plenty of choice. Worth a visit.
We love the fixed price menu at Le Grill, it's simple food made well, three course lunch from Set A 12€90, a salad, main, desert. We liked the Assiette De Charcuterie (sliced salami)salad, followed by a lasagne, then a Crépe Au Secre. Bread basket.1/2ltr of Vin de table rouge. All in all a cheap and tasty lunch. We like it there.
We enjoyed a pleasant lunch at Le Grill. The food was simple, but tasty. I had a well composed salad with ham, blue cheese and walnuts followed by a gratin of Brandade de Morue. The service was friendly and the staff were accommodating to both us and our dog, finding us a table out of the way and bringing a bowl of water. I would happily eat there again.
We were tired and it was getting late, nearly the end of lunchtime, and we nearly walked past. We should have. They committed sin #1 in French restaurants: stale bread. It didn't get any better with the rest of the meal. The decor was pleasant, but we saw a lot of other places that looked better, closer to the town centre.
It was raining so we did not want to be trudging around the streets. In any other country, this would rate "very good", but it is barely average by French standards. Way too much salt. Mediocre frites. Good cheap wine.
