Lakeside Restaurant at Great Hallingbury Manor Hotel

We stumbled upon this restaurant on a Sunday night in the heart of winter, after arriving from Stansted Airport. The dining area was nearly empty, but we enjoyed a lovely view of their small lake from our table by the window. The experience was truly delightful. The restaurant has a modern and well-lit ambiance, with a menu full of delicious British classics that we thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be returning next time we are in the area.

We came after the lunch crowd at 1, so seating was pick wherever you want.

Walked in, asked waiter if we should sit ourselves? The bartender says yes so we grab a table in one of those side roomsWaited 20 min but no one came.

We stopped here for a sit down breakfast before leaving EdinburghThe food was tasty and fresh; it was probably the best breakfast we had while here.

Beautiful restaurant with great intention was not a large menu pastry pie was beautiful, but the quality of the dinner menu is average, the breakfast was excellent you.
