Do not look any further if you like Lamb. This place makes it over a traditional fire (La Cruz) and it is absolutely delicious. Other dishes were great as well such as the traditional Argentinian ribs. The view is excellent and the service very good. I highly recommend this place!
Service was very good, the wine list is excellent,is the first time that the lamb was juicy and tasty. The two waiters were very helpful and knowledgeable of the tourism I will really really refer it tip anybody who wants a very classy dinner experience But not everything was perfect....they take siesta , so this a very bad marking for a good quality restaurant like they are. My advice add traveler is that keep the restaurant open all day, after we did a ship tour. A big group of us wants to eat there but it was closed
Meat, meat and more meat!!! The lamb (cordero) is divine!! Well, at least in the top three in my experience! We had the cordero with the 2 for 1 offer for 495 pesos!! Adding some potatoes and a bittle of wine pushed the bill to a reasonable 1300. The other dishes looked also fantastic!! You may want to come here in a relatively empty stomach to enjoy the experience fully!!
Sunday night, 2030h, just got off a boat from cruising the Beagle Canal. We’re hungry and a Google search says most good restaurants are closed in the little town of Ushuaia. However, right across the street from the commercial terminal, we see the bustling restaurant. We poke our head in the door of the parilla and it’s packed. No reservation and only $USD. One of the staff greets us and we ask if we could freshen up a bit and come back in one hour. She said probably nothing available but we have something now. We said sure and we’re guided to a lovely table. Guiding us through our meal were Will and Julianna. Two delightful servers. We decided to share our dinner with a couple of empanadas and a crab pasta dish. This all coupled with a half bottle of Malbec. Service was impeccable and the food, ooooh the food was spectacular! Empanadas perfectly prepared and the pasta was perfectly al dente. Goodness was this a find. The fun part is we only had $USD and they quoted us an exchange rate close to the blue dollar rate.. We then moved on to dessert. We ordered the crepe but mistakenly they brought us the volcano of dulce de leche. They quickly offered to correct it but we chose to keep it. We chose wisely! It was delicate and flavorful. We would,go back just for that. As reparation for their “mistake”, they brought us two glasses of bubbles! Wow! What customer focus and caring. We couldn’t have asked for such a great dining experience. All this and more for 12,000 AR pesos! We are so going back with more pesos and time to explore their extensive menu and wonderful service. Sorry I don’t have more food pictures but we were so hungry we only could grab a half eaten dessert one. Thanks again to Will and Julianna for making this one of our perfect days in Ushuaia.
