Our servers Dany and Maille were exceptional and so friendly. They were very attentive to our needs and answered all the questions we had. The food was amazing and the experience of eating here was simply phenomenal.
We stayed 6 days and five nights at the hotel. Two nights we had room service delivered to our villa to use the fireplace and the terrace. The room service menu is more limited than the restaurant, but they were very ready to deliver...all from the full restaurant menu. We enjoyed the troutceviche, the beet salad, the herbs marinated trout dinner (at 10 Yo more than once and the chicken stable. Every time the food arrived hot and tasty. They have a beautiful garden, herbs and fresh vegetables harvested for your dinner. The salad will ruin you for salads at home as it is such an imaginative creation of fresh garden ingredients and light aromas. The fresh troutfish was so funny. We had keviche for Thanksgiving and it was a dream! The staff was attentive and set up our table. We ate dinner and lunch at the restaurant. They were both high quality meals, great drinks with amazing hospitality from the restaurant guide and all staff. The pisco sour and Huerto were my favorites. They also made a fantastic Manhattan. Their wine list was good, we really enjoyed the Peruvian wines, they were quite a value for their taste. El Heluerto has successfully combined a stylish, upscale dinner without making it clogged. We started every day with breakfast overlooking the river, while our daughter fed the baby alpacas. It was really magical. Every morning it felt like you were going to the living room of your family, with warm greetings from all. The second morning they knew what we wanted. There is a buffet breakfast. I would strongly recommend both - we made eggs and then accompaniments like guacamole from the buffet. The cook recommended to make avocado toast from the guacamole and it was amazing. Every day we ended up with drinks in the bar and Marshmallows on the outdoor terrace. The drinks were impeccable, they knew our order before we went into the door and met on our favorite corner couch. The World Cup was made on and for a big background, while the music offers such a cool environment. Peru was described as a food paradise. I agree. We ate in a variety of restaurants during our visit to the city of Cusco and the wider area as we traveled. El Huerto quality, fresh ingredients, locally produced, and creatively takes Peruvian stables you should try this restaurant. But the staff and the ambience will keep you coming back.
A wonderful breakfast at Belmond begins with the food of Llamas and Alpacas. We were well supervised by Mailly and the rest of the team. Thank you for pampering us!
I have been with my family for NYE 2022, beautiful location, peaceful Hotel, and exceptional Restaurant, I’m from Lima (Peru’s Capital) and I can say is one of the best Restaurant I’ve been in Perú.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the views are spectacular. The menu has something for everyone- everything we ordered was great. Jesús in the bar in particular made our experience memorable by teaching us how to make pisco sours! He is an excellent bartender and taught us so much about pisco. Overall a great experience and highly recommended
