La Tropicana Mexican Market - Urbandale

Never been here before, called in a to-go order because they had reasonable prices close to my house. Best decision ever! This is a clean, modest restaurant/grocery store set up with a bar. I ordered an all meat burrito that was packed with a variety of meat very flavorful, with just a little kick of spice, perfect! My wife (who is 100% Mexican) ordered a #1 vegetarian combo. She raved on the authenticity of the food, tastes fresh home made. Other local Mexican restaurants are good, but this is the champ. I'll be back for more will be trying other dinners. BTW portion size are very good, couldn't finish my burrito. : Definitely will be back again!

Awesome store, staff was friendly and helpful. My go to store for any specific dish I am making.

People need to be more friendly and pack your grocery correctly, not meat with bread in the same bag ?

This is not only the best Mexican food I've ever tasted but this is the best food in general I have ever, this place has some amazing staff that made the most amazing meal I've ever had. I am now a life long customer of awesome cuisine.
