Bennigans On Merle Hay - Urbandale

We visited on Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was bustling with customers. We were warmly welcomed and seated immediately. Since it was our first time back since the remodel, it was great to see some familiar faces. Our server, Chad, was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We started with potato skins and cheese sticks, both of which were delicious, though I particularly loved the potato skins! For our main course, we ordered the crispy chicken wrap and chicken tenders. The chicken tenders were fantastic, especially paired with their honey mustard. I highly recommend giving this place a try for its excellent food and service. I would rate it a perfect 10/10!

I decided to try this Irish restaurant because it was conveniently located next to my hotel, and I'm so glad I did. The food was incredible, and the service was outstanding. I ended up dining there twice—once for lunch and once for dinner. Each time, we were looked after by fantastic servers. The burger was probably one of the best I've had in a long time. I will definitely return to this restaurant the next time I'm in Des Moines!

The restaurant was very busy and seemed to be understaffed. Our server appeared to be managing all the tables by herself, yet she did an outstanding job. She consistently kept our drinks filled and checked in on our group of seven multiple times.

I did unspeakable things to my Monte Cristo sandwich. Very good!

One of my favorite meals! I personally prefer ranch dressing over the raspberry sauce that usually comes with the Monte Cristo, but both options are excellent.
