Joe's Grill Express - Urban Honolulu

I stumbled upon this restaurant a few years ago when we first visited Honolulu, and it serves the absolute BEST chicken katsu and macaroni salad I've ever had! The service was outstanding, and the prices were very reasonable. We're planning to come back to Honolulu in September, and we will definitely make a stop here again!

This hidden gem in the neighborhood offers a diverse menu and truly captures the Aloha spirit with its delicious dishes! Conveniently situated near the airport, in a bustling area filled with car dealerships, I decided to enjoy a morning walk from the Airport Honolulu Hotel. It turned out to be a lovely stroll that led me to a fantastic breakfast. The lunch menu also looks very appealing!

I had been craving a tasty loco moco, as it never quite tastes the same when you order it off the island, and this place did not disappoint. It offers a straightforward dining experience with surprisingly reasonable prices, generous portions, and high-quality food. While indoor seating is limited, the atmosphere is delightful if you get the chance to dine in.
