WOW, Yes a 5 star fish and chip shop ! Excellent selection of produce presented for you to view, Friendly helpful PROACTIVE service, very man young serving knew his fish types and was able to recommend to suit us. Service was rapid, condiments available included a good selection AND excellent value for money

Firstly, we have NEVER had a bad feed at Madigans except Sunday13th August. In fairness, it was the Hervey Bay Seafood Festival week and the place was jumping with people everywhere. Went to Madigans at 1.30pm, people lining up, went home and returned at 3.00pm. We had one serving of flake and one of reef fish with potato scallops. Took them home to eat 2km away, both the fish were overcooked and scallops unusually very oily. First complaint ever, we WILL be back.

Had flake and fries to go - yum! Really good fresh fish lightly battered and really good fries! Pick some up and sit across the street and watch the sunset !

We eat at Maddigans every time we're in Hervey Bay and it never ceases to impress us. The food is always fresh and delicious, servings are a good sized and the staff are friendly and courteous. Small town charm at its best! Will continue to visit in the future. Highly recommended.

Had take away three times in a week as we stayed next door. The calamari was excellent and the fish and chips good as well.
