Hawaii Poke - Uppsala

I'm here every Friday two years. it is my dream ritual, and I always command umami dreams with white rice. Today I ordered it again, with extra salmon instead of thun fish. a Hawaiian lady made it this time, and it was absolutely through the dach. I'm usually satisfied with my meal, but this time it was excellent how good it tasted. thanks to hawaii poke and especially person from hawaii!

It was very quiet so it was a good place to lunch and learn.

Friendly staff, quick, good AC but I'll have to take off points because the salmon is defrosted (and tasted like it) and not fresh which was a bummer!

Several vegan options. I had a delicious Poke bowl with well balanced flavors. I do not agree with the earlier review of rice, it was the same type of rice I had in other poke bowls and I think it fits well with the other flavors. However, I felt that eating was a bit too expensive for a pretty small bowl with not much tofu.

Chain restaurant, tasty, but definitely this chain has the feeling of a fast food restaurant. A few vegan options and some more that can be changed to be vegan. The rice is the biggest disappointed, it feels very cheap, and even the brown rice option feels cheap. Would prefer a harder rice such as black, wild or red rice in these types of dishes.
