Went here with my daughter. I was a bit apprehensive as I thought it would be all young people (I am in my 50s . The announcer is very funny and music is great, very in tune with the Viking experience. The food was nice and well prepared. We were chatting to other people on our table, which you have to be prepared to do or don’t bother. There were older ones there but I did feel it was more for younger ones to be honest (under 50! It wouldn’t be suitable if you have any physical disabilities or are a bit overweight as my daughter had to climb over the table and I struggled a bit getting onto the bench. Overall would recommend as a very unique experience
Nice set dressing and atmosphere. Fun introduction from the greeter at the entrance to the restaurant, who announced us as we walked down to the table. There are long tables and benches with candles and the night we went, there were 2 musicians playing. This does make it quite noisy and difficult to hear other people and hold a conversation. The rack of lamb was good, but was only served with root veg, although there was bread on the table. The flap steak was quite tough and chewy. The forks are historical, 2 pronged and difficult to pick food up with! It's a fun experience, the food was reasonable, but not amazing, although some of the names are great.
Will certainly go again. Even on a quiet Monday night, the venue was quite full. The decor and atmosphere were excellent, as were the staff and particularly our waitress Linna who allowed me to practice my Swedish and complimented me upon doing so.
An incredible place, full of mystic, to be there you feel that time was in the past. I'll be back
