Don Tomasso's Italian Kitchen

When I walked in the door we did not get a smile or a hello from the hostess. I had to say hello before she spoke. Not a very warm welcome to start. I told her I was going to sit at the bar and wait for some other people. The bartender was pleasant and good at her job. I asked about the specials I seen online. When I ask about the turkey club sandwich and the caprese salad the bartender said it was available. The rest of my party came and we sat down for dinner. After going back and forth with the server they said the club was not available. They also said the caprese salad was not available. I walked up to the bartender and she spoke to someone in the kitchen and finally they said we could have the caprese salad. We were charged $10 for it even though it said $9 online. It looked like they just threw everything on a plate. The salad was good but it wasn't plated well. We felt as though the kitchen was upset because they had to make the caprese salad. Probably the easiest thing to make in the entire restaurant. I did not understand that. It seemed as though they didn't do a very good job on our meals because they were already upset about the salad and the club sandwich that they said was not available. Needless to say the server did as good of a job as she could. I tipped her at least 25 to 30% which was $20.

I ate at the bar and Lexy was great! The food, service and experience were all great! I'll definitely go back!

Our group of 6 had a great time, great food and service on a Friday evening. I enjoyed a stromboli, others had pizza and pasta. No complaints, we will return. Update I had the Philly pizza with jalapeños and enjoyed every bite. My beautiful bride had Scallops, a friend had the Samon, no complaints to be heard. Obvious attention paid to food presentation which i appreciate. Good service, cold drinks! Update. Enjoyed the Chicken Parmesan!

We arrived near their closing time and they were unbelievably busy. They found room for us and we had a great meal after a long travel day. Thank you!!

Awesome Italian restaurant owned and operated by one of the best chefs in Ohio! Great small town ambiance with amazing big city caliber food.
