Was okay. The guy with goatie needs to relax though or go into another job that's not front of house.

Very disappointed with the service. Stepped inside as it was cold and was refused food as we didn’t ask which tables were reserved. Staff kicked us off the table stating there was a reservation at 5:30pn, we left at 6:00pm And table was still empty. It’s disappointing to come over to experience what NZ has to offer and to receive treatment as we did. Would not recommend.

Small man in orange camo pants probably shouldn 't be working here, or in any role within hospitality for that matter. Unprovoked, he was rude and confrontational at points of interaction between myself and others. He behaved embarrassingly frazzled in having patrons arrive at an otherwise completely empty venue. The other staff got on with things. Probably just a case of 'small man syndrome ' but in any case I wouldn 't return here, and suggest the owner(s) and fellow staff would be better off without him there.

Surprised for a Friday evening dinner to get a table in a city venue and be able to take a dog inside , great start, good vibes and cool place from a blink and miss it from the outside. We had a few samples to figure which drinks to have served by the awesome bar staff opting for The Wizard and a Plum sour. Great tasting drinks. We ordered food for 3 was enough for 4 brisket tacos, Korean fried chicken, garlic bread and for the the highlight Katsu Fries. The food was quick , hot and tasted good , thanks chef! Would defo come back again for a beer or even just for the fries Boneface don't change them they were perfect)

Went to Brewtown for my stag do with 14 other guys. While inbetween activities we went to try out Boneface and to get out of the cold. As we entered through the doors to get out of the cold and get some beers, we were approached by a short man with a goatee. He asked us if we needed help and we asked him if there was a possibility for us to be seated. In a rude, snarky and unprofessional manner. He replied saying A group of 15? Without a reservation? See ya! Dude, a simple 'sorry, we don 't have any space at this time ' would of been okay. This interaction left us with a sour taste, which we then went to wash out at Fermented who made us feel welcomed and accommodated us with open arms. Moral of the review, the guy needs a lot of hospitality training or just needs to be sacked as he is the common reason for a lot of negative reviews and made you guys lose a big sale on a cold, empty day.
