Golden Crane - Upminster

Nice local pub that is easy to get to by foot, if you live in Cranham or Upminster. We went on the day they had an Amy Winehouse tribute, who didn't have as many tattoos but she did sound like her. Got loads of people dancing anyway. Standard selection of beer for the area but that's fine. Just good to see people in there enjoying themselves.

This is a welcoming pub featuring a lovely beer garden. While they do serve food, the options for vegetarians and vegans are quite limited. If they expanded their menu and enhanced the atmosphere a bit more, it would definitely deserve a 5-star rating.

This is a very pleasant and welcoming family-run restaurant. The food is excellent, and it offers great value for money. I highly recommend this place!

The new owner has truly transformed this pub. Previously, it felt dark and uninviting, and as a woman dining alone, I often felt uncomfortable. Now, my son and I love to sit together in the garden and enjoy the beautiful meadow view. The food is reasonably priced and tastes fresh. The atmosphere has a friendly, family-oriented vibe. I'm really happy to have a decent local pub to enjoy!

Along with the friendly staff, there's an excellent beer garden, and the beer is always fresh and clear.
