Beola's Chicken Waffles - Upland

My husband and I are regulars at this restaurant because we love everything on the menu! From the chicken and waffles to the party wings, catfish, and mac and cheese—it's all fantastic. They've always taken great care of us! Today, I was craving banana pudding, but they had run out of bananas. They actually went to the store and bought some just for me! Please support this amazing business; you won’t regret it!

This is for the new location in Upland! Had the catfish, tilapia, sautéed chicken strips with brown gravy, collards, mac and cheese, red beans and rice, peach cobbler and that sweet tea. ALL of it was flavorful and cooked very well! Prices were a bit high and the fish portions were a bit small, BUT otherwise and overall, we left satisfied with the quality and quantity. The menu has a good variety of stuff and I will DEFINITELY be back to try everything on it. We need more family owned places like this where you can taste the difference! I’ve seen some criticism and I get it. But they’re new and they’re clearly getting things together. In a time when it’s easy to walk into a food place and get subpar food, disinterested staff, and just a poor experience, I’m thankful places like this have to guts to still put themselves out there. This is a restaurant to support!

Just ate at Beola’s for the first time and will definitely come back again.. Their chicken and waffles were to die for! I’ve honestly never had a waffle as good as theirs, and the chicken was so juicy and seasoned perfectly. Their hot sauce was a perfect complement as well. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

I had been passing by their place in Upland while it was being renovated, and when I saw that they were open, I seized the opportunity to have a business lunch there. I went the classic route the first time, with chicken and waffles being outstandingly enjoyable. The chicken was crisp yet tender inside, with perfect seasoning on the outside, and the waffle was beautifully fluffy, with flavor exploding in your mouth. Fast forward a week later another business lunch. This time the catfish with potato salad. Fish was fried to perfection, and the seasoning was spot on; the potato salad was extremely enjoyable, regretting getting full very fast. Since then, I have been getting their peach cobbler for customers, as well as for my own team. I also had them cater for a meeting, serving fried chicken, salmon in butter cajun sauce, green beans, mac and cheese, potato salad and peach cobbler to round things off. All I can say is I had 20 VERY happy and satisfied individuals, fighting to take home leftovers!

This place is great! I had greens and Mac and cheese and fish.Everything was well seasoned. I still had left overs. I definitely will be back. The staff were polite. It had a cool vibe. Only thing they missing is bottles of hot sauce those little packets not good enough. Oh yeah and the cornbread the best thing on the menu! We had to get more cornbread to go. Thumbs up this will be my new soul food go to restaurant!
