Hochalm - Untertauern

The location of the restaurant is amazing, it is the jam of 3 ski lifts. The food is okay, what we really loved is the parties in the terrace in sunny weather. The atmosphere is incredible

Fabulous location for apres (almost as on the mountain) ski! Great atmosphere for drinks have not eaten, so can not comment,

On skiing holiday we went to Hochalm for lunch, which to us was a disappointment. It's a selfservice, and the area for ordering and collecting food is tiny, why it easily get crowded. Furthermore, 1/2 chicken which we had, was dry. We hoped for a juicy chicken, but this was not the case for us. Later in the afternoon we went for drinks at the big terrasse. Lots of people and lively. This makes it a good venue.

Really nice service, delicious food for a good price, great atmosphere. The only drawback is that in summer many insects you want to eat, but hey, these are the mountains :

This place is simply excellent. Had table service (apparently the menu options differ without this) and would totally recommend it! The mixed meat plate was awesome. So often this is poorly done and overcooked cheap meat. Not this time. Amazing well cooked (not well done) beef, pork and chicken. Huge portions too. Eat here. You won’t be disappointed or hungry!
