Fish House Cafe - University Place

That is a very small place next to the sick house. eating is super fresh and made to order. we really enjoyed the cats and garnels. nowhere to sit now, as the focus seems to go. we used the hood of our car as table. will definitely be back.

I have the fish and chips. the fish was perfectly seasoned, so delicious, but the riders were under-seasoned and quite basic. the fish and fries were perfectly fried, seriously! they were both so crispy and the perfect temperature. nothing was soggy, greasy or burnt. the tartaric acid sauce is good, but the part is small. I'll order two wee acid sauce next time. the service was great – even if that had been bad, I would come back for the friendly cash. I loved the cozy interieur, and I wanted to see everything in it. great place when they need fish! there are road construction through the entry, so it could be hard to get in.

Holy wow this place is great! eating is fantastic. service is great. are generous. I had the fish dinner and the fries were hot fresh and crispy. the fish. oh, herr the fish! so well scattered and seasoned. boiled to perfection. my wife had the fish and garnel plate. they said the garnels were the best they had in washington. I had a side fried oyster. they were seasoned and cooked for perfection. krispy on the outside and hot and gooey inside. I live almost an hour away and will be willing to drive here for this great little one out of the way.

The fish and jacobs are divine! super friendly service! parking is very limited, but no one has us to the parking space at the tankstelle, so hopefully this is good. definitely a place we will return to! we grew up in the south and that reminded us of the fishries of our grandmother, it was so good! no din in the option (it is a tiny place,) but we have our job in a park and had a nice evening meal in the open!

Oh my goodness! What an amazing place this is. We were hungry, checked Google Maps for a fish place, reviews looked good so we decided to come check it out. I am a Southern girl and this place took me back home on a food journey. The fish was HOT, Crispy and to die for. The fries were standard, but also hot and crispy. The hushpuppies were sooooooo good. I'd go back for just the hushpuppies! Go! Get some fish, you will be so glad you did!
