Antojo Mexican Grill - University Place

This was our first time here since 2020 and we were reminded that this is our favorite Mexican restaurant and our favorite restaurant period in all Tacoma. It's a little on the expensive side when we're used to eating in Tacco trucks, but it's worth it. Street Tacos are perfect, roasted beans are the best everywhere and the chips are great. In addition, the drinks are fantastic and they make Virgin cocktails for the children. Really my whole family loves this place.

I wanted to try this place and finally! The selection of dishes and menus is fantastic! Good luck, drink too. Portions are big, so be ready to go home Leftovers. The staff is very friendly and the service was great. Definitely a place to go back.

This place was great! The outer seats are amazing. I love the tacos! Drinks are strong enough, with still delicious. Would be a 5 star, but there was an ant on an ice cube of my friend in her drink. They took care of immediately and we even saw that they banished and refilled their entire ice stock behind the bar.

I recommend the shrimp Burrito! So delicious. very unique and amazing flavor combinations, I got one on Thursday and had believed it all weekend, I had to go back today and get another. The portions are huge. Definitely worth the price. You got my business safe.

Very nice atmosphere. I can see this place as being a hang out at night at the bar or even just for dinner. Nice setup. Food was awesome too. Salsa and chips were good and the green sauce was good with a kick to it. Lots of options to choose from as far as food. I had the combination plate. Rice and beans were good as well as the tacos. Horchata was good, wasn't too watered down like some places.
