Cafe Laura - University Park

My experience at the Cafe was disappointing. The calamari appetizer was good, but the veal Marsala entree was chewy and bland. The bread was served cold with overly rosemary-infused oil. The service was lacking, with the waiter reaching across the table and addressing us as "guys" when we were mature women. The server also struggled to remember our orders and forgot about us when it was time to pay the bill. Overall, I was not happy with my experience and would not recommend leaving a large tip.

Cafe Laura is the ultimate experience for PSU students studying hotel and restaurant management. I was able to learn about the inner workings of the restaurant from some friends who work there.

I visit this restaurant occasionally during the day and they are usually quite good. However, they have limited healthy choices on the menu, except for the salad.

I made a dinner reservation at this restaurant. The main course is of good quality. The appetizers are worth a try. The service could use some improvement, but I understand that it is because the staff are still in training.

I had lunch here today and I have to say it was really good, much better than anything else available on campus.
