Golden Corral Buffet Grill

Service was excellent every visit food was excellent me and my wife enjoyed it every time we visit

I’ve been here more than a few times. It’s kind of small for a Golden Corral so we avoid it when it’s busy but otherwise the food and service has always been fine.Our last visit however will definitely be the last to this location. My son unfortunately has a condition and cannot handle most buffet food and only eats a particular diet at home. We were informed that we MUST pay for him as well and that anyone entering the restaurant must pay. Eating or not. I told the manager I was just here recently and this rule didn’t exist and that no other Golden Corral has ever done this to us. The manager simply said “people arn’t following the rules then”.I waited to leave this review until we had a chance to hit a couple other locations first to confirm and as suspected; neither the location off 410 or new braunfels told us we needed to pay for him. The man at the New Braunfels location even apologized for Pat bookers behavior and assured us they will never charge for a non eater at his location.I can at least understand some really large pizza buffets charging for non eaters since it would be impossible to keep your eye on everyone but this place? Give me a break, it takes all of ten seconds to walk the whole length of the restaurant and check that non eaters are in fact, not eating. Terrible.

Be careful, at a dinner yesterday they did not inform that after the total they would add the tip for the waiter .At no time did we leave 50 cash on the table for this .My total was $357.99 , today they discounted us $407.60.They increased the amount because of the tip, they never told us.So the tip to the waiter was $100 dollars . Just for leaving the sodas and lifting some plates .Very low on the receipt they say that they will add the tip to the waiter,but in the total amount they don’t show it.

Very good food. I arrived at 6:15 and everything was hot. The steak they had made was burnt. But a lady very kindly told me that she did more. And he did, and it was delicious. I did very well. ?

This place needs a makeover new carpet and fresh paint would make me feel like it's a cleaner environment food was pretty good I had no idea there was soup because wit was hidden away with deserts...small kid was sneezing everywhere wish there was a parent must be with child sign
