While the menu has a large list of “veg” items, the waitstaff was unable to confirm whether or not those dishes used fish sauce/chicken broth/etc. This was over the phone. If you’re okay with not knowing- there’s a lot of variety. But I likely won’t risk it going forward.
TNR cafe has a cute indoor setting and many many vegan friendly options. I’ve tried the Kung Pao tofu and General Tsos tofu but there are four or five other possible dishes. Lots of flavor.
The food is excellent and the service is good. The turnaround on orders is very quick.
The came here for Sunday lunch without a reservation, but we got seated immediately without any waiting. Both the fried rice and fried rice noodle were good although the fried rice noodle was not exactly the Taiwanese style I was hoping for. The 1/2 roasted duck was crispy. Basil eggplant was standard. Overall, we enjoyed our lunch here and will come back whenever coming to this area. Street parking in nearby areas was not bad around noon on Sunday.
