Mimi's Cafe - United States

Incredible food and a great place for a Sunday brunch! We went to meet up with my cousins before they went home out of town and we had an absolutely wonderful meal and quality family time! The Florentine Benedict was awesome and even though it was pretty busy and all, the service was good efficient and kind. Plus it’s really close to the Sun Splash Water Park and the Galleria Mall, the best of both worlds!

We were under the impression that our favorite Mimi's had closed, and we were so pleased to find out that they were open and serving their wonderful food. From the time we walked in, until the time we left, we had incredible service. Our wait person, George O. was one of the best waiters I've ever had. The food was out on time, he checked with us often to see if we needed anything else, and we were very pleased with all he did to make our meal pleasant. And, as usual, Mimi's didn't disappoint. Our meal was delicious in every way.

I had an amazing breakfast at Mimi‘s today. All the servers were very aware of when my coffee was low and asked me for refills all the time. The general manager Travis came by and also made sure that I had everything I needed. Highly recommend going to Mimi’s café as a regular. They also have very good options for children if you have a family. Food was so good and the restaurant was very clean.

$6 for a side of bacon! $1.50 a strip! Service here is awful, we had to go to counter to get our drink refilled!

I went to Mimi's Cafe for dinner. I ordered Meatloaf with garlic spinach and potatoes au gratin as the main course. I also ordered French onion soup as a starter. We were never given a bread basket. I'm not sure if they do that anymore. The service was horrible. Other tables were checked on occasionally. We were pretty much ignored. The French onion soup tasted like it was straight out of a can. The bread on top was a large heel piece. It was so thick that the inside of it was not toasted. I could taste that it was old bread. It's supposed to be toasted fresh bread. The cheese on top stank. I wasn't sure if the cheese was old or just a smelly type. The meatloaf and garlic spinach were alright. The potatoes au gratin was awful. It was obviously boxed and the worst part was that it wasn't cooked properly. I've attached a picture of it. I got food poisoning; I'm assuming it was from the potatoes that I only tasted. The potatoes were almost completely untouched when I asked for the bill. We were never offered a to go container.
