Women working the register was extremely rude, making faces, name calling etc. Slow staff and insane prices. I would not reccomend this place to anyone.

Ordered bagels for an upcoming brunch. Arrived to pick them up they weren’t available. I was told they had given them to someone else. Staff handled this in a nonchalant, “oh well” manner.

Decent bagels. I don't know why they have whitefish on the menu though. Every time I ask for it, they look around and can't find any.

The service is awful! Staff incompetent and don 't care. Food was terrible. I ordered a Caesar salad. Super easy, right? Lettuce, parm cheese, dressing, and I was gonna add chicken if they had it. Lady with the accent doing the order put 3 pieces of lettuce flat in the bowl. Then didn 't know what to do. She started to put tomato in. I said that 's not in that salad. I tried to tell her and she didn 't know how to make it. So I asked for a Greek salad instead just to use the tomatoes she cut. I asked for onion and cucumbers. And then I kept asking for more lettuce: the salad was $6.99 and there were now 6 pieces of lettuce. I asked for more. Then more then more. She literally kept putting one piece on. Completely incompetent on how to make a salad. I asked for chicken if they had it and she tried to toss chicken salad on it. I was so frustrated and trying not to be rude I just took the salad cause I was starving.My boyfriend got a Turkey sandwich and she was as unable to make that either. All he wanted was Turkey, cheese, lettuce on a toasted plain bagel. It took literally 20 mins to have our food made. The guy doing our drinks was just as bad. He asked what size salad. I said regular cause you guys only have one size. He didn 't know how to put it in. We sat down to eat and some guy ordered a Reuben sandwich. And the lady doing the ordered asked with corned beef? And the guy was like how was else would you make that sandwich? I asked for a cup of water too and it had a little bug in it. Gross.Go somewhere else. The food quality was terrible on top of being skimpy. Save yourself the time.

Review specifically for the service received and for being overcharged. I went to Bagel Jays for a breakfast sandwich before work yesterday. The breakfast sandwich meat options include Ham, bacon or chicken sausage. I asked if I could substitute Turkey (due to dietary restrictions) and the woman taking my order looked at me as if I had 4 heads. She argued with me and claimed that wasn’t a breakfast sandwich. She acted dumbfounded and confirmed at least three times that I wanted Turkey on a bagel with egg and cheese instead of ham, bacon or sausage. Fortunately one of the women working with her came to my assistance and confirmed what I was ordering. I then go to check out and was charged the price of an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich PLUS the price of an entire separate Turkey sandwich. I tried to argue the charges but the cashier and the women making my sandwich said there was no way around it and if I wanted the Turkey then I needed to pay the “up-charge.” So I paid almost $13 for one breakfast sandwich. At this point the woman making my sandwich was acting even more confrontational and rude so I paid and left as soon as I could… I got my sandwich but I’m still angry, annoyed and confused how I ended up paying $13 dollars for a sandwich when all I asked for was a meat substitution.
