Chili's Grill

I absolutely adore the Brandon Florida location of this restaurant. My family has been going there for years. Tonight, we ordered carry out and when I got home, I realized my enchilada soup was missing from the 3/$10.99 deal. Since we live close by, I called to ask if I could come back and pick up the soup. I want to give a special shout out to Justin. He was very accommodating and prepared my soup promptly, even giving me extra. Justin apologized profusely for the mistake, even though it was a simple oversight (having worked in food and beverage for 40 years). He truly went above and beyond to rectify the situation. In a time when customer service can be lacking, Justin was exceptional. I don't know his last name, but I believe he deserves recognition. When I initially picked up my order curbside, Justin brought out the food and explained everything clearly. I even mentioned to my husband how impressed I was with his service. Despite being busy with curbside orders when I returned to get my soup, Justin was still efficient and courteous. Thank you, Justin.

Chili's has hit a new low. My companion and I stopped in for a quick meal on a Wednesday evening before 7pm, only to leave over 45 minutes later with our food packed up to go and $70 poorer. The hostess was nowhere to be found when we arrived, and when she did show up, she lacked any sort of welcoming demeanor. We decided to sit in the bar area in hopes of faster service, and were seated at a high-top table. We ended up sitting at this table waiting for our to-go food, feeling obligated to tip the bartender for simply giving us water and chips and salsa. Although the bartender was friendly, waiting 45 minutes for our meals was unacceptable. To make matters worse, both of our meals were incomplete - my wife's sliders were missing bacon and onions, and my combo meal was missing two of its sides. Chili's used to be a reliable quick dining option, but not anymore. We will not be returning to this location or any other Chili's in the future. We should have seen the warning signs when the first thing on the menu was alcohol.

The staff at this restaurant is extremely welcoming.

We dine in occasionally but we mostly get carry out( ok ALOT of carry out They’re always so friendly and I’ve never had a wrong order. You can’t beat the $10.99 deal and the chicken enchilada soup is my favorite soup ever from anywhere. I wish they’d put the Margareta chicken back as one of the $10.99. They raised the price on that so I don’t gey it anymore but got it all the time before they raised the price on it. I’m literally within walking distance to the Brandon location and I’m a rewards member so I’m always earning free desserts or even a free appetizer once in a while.

There was no hostess so, we waited near the door for someone to seat us. They seemed to be short handed and one of the waitstaff finally stopped over. The food was mediocre and the service was good. We probably wouldn't eat their again soon; we were using a gift card on this visit.
