Hartleys Cafe Bistro - United Kingdom

What a fabulous hidden gem. we noticed that hartley is on the way home and decided to stop coffee. we were greeted as the customers they were happy all day. eating was fantastic, cooked in an open kitchen, so they can see everything. there were many people who came to lunch that were obviously regular customers. my blt was full of speck and really delicious. they could not fail the service and every single employee saw themselves happy to work there. there was an open fire, the decor was delightful quirky, from another time and totally charming and cozy. my first visit will not be my last.

In the afternoon to the birthday. sandwiches were super fresh with a delicious variety of fillings. fresh cream and strawberry jam scissors and wonderful strawberry and fresh cream tea. highly recommended. I forgot a picture....

What a nice caffe. I was very welcome and had a nice breakfast. the homemade pancakes with apple and speck were great and refilled on the filter coffee went down a leak. there is a peaceful ambiente and a good choice of background music.

Our family of five visited this restaurant for Sunday roast dinner. The starters were delicious, the roast had a wide variety of options and plenty of vegetables. The small selection of desserts we chose were all excellent. The waitresses were attentive and friendly. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely visit again.

I had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant. The food was delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff were welcoming and quick to serve. I can't wait to return soon.
