I’m a person of habit, so if I find a restaurant with a food I really like, I keep coming back to it! Whenever we are Toronto, this is the first restaurant we dine particularly the kamjatang!!!! And we would come back several times during our stay. I also love their side dishes especially the cucumber. Lively and great staff! Great value for money too! So far we have not been disappointed.
This restaurant is a fantastic spot for Korean cuisine. Situated in the First Markham Place plaza, it boasts a friendly staff and a lovely chandelier. The menu offers a great variety of dishes, including delicious Kalbi and mouthwatering pork bone soup. The small side dishes they provide are also a highlight. If you're a fan of Korean food, I highly recommend giving this place a visit.
This is always my favorite go-to spot for gamjatang. In addition to the delicious soup, they also offer other options like glass noodles, beef dumplings, and rice cakes. The food is consistently good quality and reasonably priced. The service is also good. However, it's important to note that they close at 10pm, so if you come in after 9pm they may ask you to leave by 9:50pm. This has happened to me multiple times. Additionally, they stop accepting customers after 9:30pm because the kitchen has already closed and been cleaned.
I always enjoy dining at this restaurant, it's always lovely. The tteokbokki was delicious with a clean taste and a generous sprinkling of red pepper flakes. The pork bone soup was also excellent, as usual. This particular location is great because there is plenty of parking available, unlike some of the other locations.
