Subway - Union City

Staff was very affordable very professional helpful got in and got out everything was fine service was great food was fresh I recommend

I thought i updated this review but it didn't? anyway i still think this place is great cuz u will eat healthily and have the closest to a zero chance of any stomach issies ive had with any restaurant, and the only issue i've ever had tbh have been other rude customers who seem like they want to start a fight. personally that is not an issue for me but the workers here have to deal with these sort of people often. what i am updating and docking a star for is the fact they dont open until 8:30 and it says online and on the window 7:30 and thats a huge discrepency for anyone willing to make an early trip to this restaurant for breakfast. the owner needs to handle such corrections on his store page and on the window. the other lady is right he already has this placed understaffed he needs to have some dignity somewhere

Stopped in yesterday 10/12/23 and ordered a tuna sandwich foot-long and a small bag of chips. Came to $15. I know it's been a while since I've been there but the price was ridiculous I thought. After I got home I looked online and the sandwich should have been at $8.49 a bag of chips $1.50 according to the online menu. Now I feel that the worker rippped me off. I really don't think this was a mistake on her part but was done purposely. Will never return to the subway on Alvarado Niles Road

So I went here last night waited about 30 minutes before the lady took my order. It was 4 sandwiches the first 2 were veggie patty. The older lady working there said we don’t have it,proceeded to walk away come back after 10 minutes of checking “nope we don’t have it”. I ended up leaving as I was already tired from work and it’s 7pm now. I go home and DoorDash subway and it happens to be this very location and guess what they had the veggie patty. I am beyond appalled! The service here is a joke!!!!

Trying to straddle the line here this is a Subway restaurant so they shouldn 't be graded on the expectation of providing a killer sub sandwich. Go spend real money on an actual gourmet sub, if that 's your desire. On the other hand, I 've never walked out of this location feeling like the sandwich artist behind the counter really cared if they were making a good sandwich. Having to ask and re ask for condiments or veggies, etc., I was more likely to feel like the nagging customer than just someone patronizing a budget sub sandwich restaurant with realistic expectations.
