Pacific Pourhouse - Union City

My friend and I had lunch here, sitting on the outdoor terrace. The service was excellent from start to finish. The menu features a variety of great options, and I believe they are particularly known for their beer selection. I ordered the lamb, while my friend had the fish and chips, both of which were delicious. The portion sizes were also generous. We would definitely return!

This is an excellent choice for a meal before heading to the movies—it's just a quick walk to the Century Theaters.

About a quarter of the taps were out of order, and the selection was limited, mostly featuring IPAs. The milk stout was decent. However, the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The pricing was around $0.63 per ounce, which means a 12-ounce glass of self-serve beer would cost approximately $7.50. I didn't try any food during my visit. Overall service: 5/5.

I had a pleasant experience at Pacific PourHouse last week, but they definitely need to improve their cleanliness. When we walked in during the early afternoon, everything felt sticky. The women's restroom was particularly concerning; the toilet bowl looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months, and the counter was unkempt. The overall cleanliness in the main area also seemed lacking. Additionally, about half of the beer taps were unavailable, which limited the draft beer selection. On the positive side, they have large TVs that are great for watching sports. If they can address the cleanliness issues and expand their beer options, I would have likely rated it four stars.
