Checker's Ii - Union

I ordered the Bavarian house special with German potatoes, while my friends tried the pork sandwich and steak salad.

I had a late lunch at this restaurant. The server was excellent and the food was very good. My children enjoyed their hamburgers, which arrived promptly. I tried the German sausage plate, which was decent. However, the herbs and carrots stood out as particularly delicious. Overall, it was a great dining experience.

The restaurant had amazing food and outstanding service. The menu had a wide variety of options including BBQ ribs, pork chops, chicken, steak, fish, and shrimp. Our server, Sharissa, was friendly, knowledgeable, and polite. She was able to answer all of our questions about the menu. The portions were generous and we were too full for dessert. I regret not discovering this place sooner during my visit to the Illinois Railway Museum, but I will definitely be returning in the future.

I finally had the chance to have lunch at this restaurant after trying to get a table for years. Despite the small size and limited parking, the food was worth the wait.

The food was fantastic! I can't wait to go back and try the schnitzel. The German beer was also excellent!
