The Buttered Tin St. Paul (lowertown)

A reliable St. Paul breakfast spot. It had been a while (years) since I had been here so I am happy to report the food is still tasty. The coffee cake was drier than I remembered.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS !!!!The 20% Mandatory Living Wage Fee is insane!!! But, I want people to know that you are paying the employees wages and the owner walks away with all the profit getting away with underpaying staff. Very sad and will not recommend this place or return. OBVIOUSLY the owners are very petty and show just how cheap they are publicly. Unfortunate

I anticipated fresher tasting food. Too greasy. Pretty sure its a margarine

Very cute breakfast, brunch, lunch locale with amazing Banana Foster French Toast. It’s a large portion of buttery sweetness so plan to share. Order at the counter and pick a table by the window. We also had a plate of eggs hashbrowns (which were a bit bland), cappuccino, matcha which were all good, but paled to the French toast. Bakery items are also sold here.

It just wasn’t good and the service charge was way to high 5 dollars on a 19 dollars meal. Also if you dont like onions in your breakfast sausage dont get the breakfast sausage
