House Of Halva

My husband and I went into Keg and Case and stumbled upon this awesome store!! The owner was so kind and had fresh samples of tea and halva. We weren’t expecting to even get any dessert, but we couldn’t pass it up! I am gluten and dairy free and appreciated the GF and vegan treats. We even ended up getting some date syrup after we sampled it. Highly recommend you come here!

Their halva is absolutely delicious. It is a real deal that is so hard to find in the USA. They offer the widest variety of flavors from pistachio to something unique like whiskey chocolate. It was my favorite! The store also offers amazing smoothies. Will definitely visit again

I made an online order, as I had a cute idea for my anniversary to buy sampler packs for me and my wife and another piece of halva. It was timed to come on or a day before my anniversary. The package came two days later than the latter expected delivery date, and not on time for my anniversary. We opened the package and the cooler and halva was completely warm. When we did our delayed plan , we had to spit the halava out, as it was STALE and had a HORRIFFIC AFTER TASTE, further ruining our celebration. I emailed the company the next day and waited to get a response. No response from them. I then emailed them two days later, stating if I don 't hear from them, I would be posting my story online. Guess what???? To try to do damage control, an email response came a little over an hour later. Their response was they can not control the shipping time, and that Halava stays fresh for 6 months, plus telling me how to keep it fresh based on liking it with a soft or hard texture. Oh... and as a consolation, they will give me 15% off on the next order to buy more stale Halava... This is their response??? Not, we will gladly resend you a new order or refund your purchase? Nooooo! Why in the world would I want to buy more stale halva with a horrible after taste when this is their solution? It seems they are more concerned about taking my money and how to store the rancid tasting halava, than customer service and customer satisfaction with their product. In summary, if you like shipped, stale halva and poor customer satisfaction.... You know where to buy it from.

An incredible gourmet middle-eastern dessert. Some of the best sweets we have ever had. Worth every penny. We also enjoyed a tahini smoothie. I like the purple rain better than the it’s a date, but both were fantastic and unique in their taste. We met David the owner, super friendly and helpful. The halva is imported from his family factory in Ashdod. The best part for me was that it’s certified kosher. What an amazing random find in St. Paul.
