We stayed a few days in Uncastillo and ate in El Secreto on the last night of our visit. The restaurant was recommended by the woman who owned the apartment we rented, and we were very glad to have taken her advice. The restaurant is charming, discrete, and beautifully decorated. The food was superb, with lovely fresh local ingredients, beautifully prepared and presented and of exceptional quality. The lamb was perhaps the best I've ever been served in a restaurant. The portions were appropriately sized, in fact we left feeling quite full after 1 appetiser, 2 entres and 1 main between two. The service was great and our host was very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended, and definitely worth a return visit the next time we are in the area.
