Café 10 was more of a Café than restaurant. It was attached to a antiques/nik nak/collectable type shop. Nothing really matches but as you sip your coffee you can check out the old furniture and bits and pieces that were in your grandparents home growing up.The Café owner/manager is a character who is good for a yarn. The Café is located in a bit of a strange place in Port Kembla and doesn't really look like it would be much, but if you like a place that is a little bit different it is well worth a visit
It would be great if this cafe was open for a coffee before work. That said, when my partner and I pulled up at 8am, the owner came out and offered to open early and make us a coffee anyway. It was very nice inside with lots to look at. I'll certainly be going back for lunch.
We had a delightful experience at Cafe Sonny. Sonny was a perfect host, making us feel very welcome. We enjoyed delicious afternoon tea and coffee. My mom had mouthwatering ice cream and we all savored a delicious homemade dessert made by Sonny's wife. The ambiance was fascinating and ever-changing. Sonny shared interesting stories about the early days of football in Illawarra and Australia. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area. I highly recommend stopping by. Keep an eye out for the yellow bike parked out front!
The service at this restaurant is excellent, the coffee is good, and it's a must-visit when in Mount Kembla. It's the perfect spot for a quick coffee and a breathtaking view. The children enjoyed their hot chocolates and were treated very well.
