I love my buffet and have visited most in the illawarra. While Buffet palace is local it is pretty limited compared to other buffets in the illawarra and the food is not as high quality. Id give it a miss.
For $21 We could eat and drink anything We wanted. Our family of 6 was impressed. Big variety of baked dinner type foods (the roast beef melted in ur mouth) salads, Asian, fruits and desserts. As well as sauces to go with it all. I loved being able to try one of everything. Loved the Thai noodles too. The lemon cheesecake and chocolate mud were also delish. Food labels would help though. Wasn't really sure what a lot of the dishes were. Service was good - plates taken away quickly. Our first time at the huge club and man at the door was very helpful in telling me where to go. Kids area was great too tho a bit far away from the buffet. Will prob go again but next time won't have breakfast!
This restaurant offers a typical buffet with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. However, none of the flavors really stand out. The service is decent, but could be a bit more welcoming and friendly.
After hearing about this restaurant on the radio, we decided to give it a try in hopes of reliving the nostalgic memories of buffet dining from our childhood. However, while the food was abundant, it did not impress us. The quality was average, and we felt that perhaps the lack of customers during lunchtime resulted in the slow turnover of food. Overall, we didn't feel like we got value for our money at this restaurant.
