Wandee Thai Restaurant - UMINA BEACH

Juries out on this one Didn't think the food was that great In comparison to Hanuman in Lindfield it has a long way to go.

Best Thai on the Peninsula by farKB Thai used to up there, but has since fallen by the wayside.

We had lunch at Wandee just by looking at the photos of the food but didn't expect to get what we received.As you can see from the photos that I attached the presentation was more than I expected. Taste was ok but they did not have satay sticks for lunch which one of the kids were looking forward to like another restaurant we visited nearby.But the food was great. The laksa I had was a tad bit on the sweeter side than I would like but all in all it was a good feed with free water and soft drink with the lunch.The Tom Yum was also better than what we last had at a Sydney restaurant.

What a great restaurant! Fabulous food, great staff and fantastic prices.The servings are generous and very tasty. We went for dinner it was crowded and quite noisey but the food was worth it.They also do a $10 lunch menu including a drinkWhen I was told we were going there I had no expectations but I now looking forward to my next visit

We had a reservation at 6:30 p.m. on a busy Saturday night. Our food arrived at the table within 5-10 minutes of ordering and was fresh and delicious. We ordered four meals and all of them were fantastic. This is one of the best Thai restaurants we have ever dined at. We highly recommend it!
