Modern Nomads - Ulaanbaatar

Modern restaurant with fantastic atmosphere. Great for tourists (and locals too) who want to eat traditional food, but also with a more modern interpretation. Food was great, but we had an unfortunate experience with the buuz (dumplings), which were not cooked properly and had raw meat inside...

Lukewarm soup, crumbly meat drowning in sauce, music that feels like warmup at a dance club even though it’s Monday evening, flashing lights, no complementary bread (they used to give them previously) all culminating in a mediocre dining experience. The only thing I found decently acceptable was the service. In all other ways, this place is to be avoided.

Food was fine. But skipped some of our order and need more security to check some drunk beggars.

The most friendly restaurant in Mongolia. Super delicious dishes, grilled meat personally selected by the user and prepared with an amazing show of skills from the staff... perfect for a great meal.... I personally recommend visiting it at the end of the trip as it would leave an amazing memory of the trip (also because it is so good to make you ready to eat around 5 to 6 plates grilled meat so that you are very full and heavy, but also very happy! ... Enjoy traditional grilled meat in one of the best places in Mongolia
