Yamagoya - Uji

Delicious food, it has been a surprise finding a vegan store in Uji! The owner is very nice and the atmosphere relaxing.

Hello Yamagoya san, Japanese Cuisine vegan meals was so Delicious. This is my Second Time Vegan meals in Local cuisine. So many vegetables, Root vegetables really Good Taste. Gochisosamadeshita. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu. Thanks for the Delicious meals.

The food was worth 4 stars or more but the dessert brought the ratings down for me. The set lunch was one of the better vegan lunches in Kyoto but the dessert sadly was disappointing.

I had an amazing experience at this vegetarian restaurant in Kyoto. The lunch set was the only option available, but it was cooked to perfection. Each dish had its own unique flavor that complemented the others perfectly. The soy meat tasted just like the real thing. Although the meal was a bit more expensive than average, it was definitely worth it. The coffee I had after was also perfect. The homely decor and background music added to the overall experience. The staff were kind and the locals love this place. There is also a cake selection available for dessert or takeaway. Overall, I would give this restaurant a 10 out of 10.

The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is delicious <3
