Grandpa's Southern B Que - Ucon

We had a coupon to this casual bbq joint and were excited to try it out. We were underwhelmed, to say the least. I ordered beef brisket, which was terribly dry, leathery, and flavorless—like it’d been sitting under a heatlamp for 2 days in a cafeteria. My ribs were smothered in a decent sauce but were quite tough and not very meaty. The chicken thigh was barely mediocre? You can pick up a rotisserie chicken from Sam's or Wal-Mart that has more flavor and tenderness. The only positive of the meal was the side of mac n cheese which our daughter ate. The service was fine, but given that everything we ordered was a huge disappointment, we will not be returning. For good bbq in Idaho Falls, Bubba's is far superior (one of our favorite places to go for a casual, fulfilling and cheap meal! .

This is the best place to eat in Idaho Falls! The food is great, the service is great, and the tea is the best in the West! The atmosphere is wonderful, friendly, welcoming! This is the place to go!
