The Dining Room - Uckfield

While we celebrate a birthday, we decided to lunch for the buxted park. what a jewel, this charming hotel has to offer. the private eating was fabulous and the atmosphere and service were first class and how to eat and the huge wine list, simply stunning. all for a fabulous occasion. happy to recommend and we will definitely be back!

Very average eating for lunch it seemed to be only roasting and a selection of fishing. not much atmosphere and I hate restaurants that are all diner close when the restaurant relatiw is empty.

Went for a high-time lunch and had a brilliant time. from a step foot in the hotel the staff were amazing, especially the general manager, the second career as the next I am sure. great venue, fantastic eating, amazing friendly and really helpful staff. great value and wonderful to finish the meal dive wee before a roaring fire. many thanks for a relaxed, unattended afternoon in a beautiful place, we will be back!

What a fantastic and unforgettable evening. we celebrated our 2nd high season and chose to stay locally instead of traveling to london, which is our usual venue. we were so happy with the decision. the food was excellent and the service was perfect. we were welcomed and sitting in the bar and also visited by very friendly and professional staff. we ordered from the bar before we stick to our table in the dining room. the table has been enclosed with a circular, high back seat that offered a truly romantic and intimate experience. the waiter and the manager were very attentive, but not intrusive. eating was amazingly in generous portions. we were very well looked after and will definitely be booking again!

Buxted park hotel,buxted,a lovely lunch and extremely good value for the special offer price!! in fact would have been happy to pay the full lunch price for the food we had,All beautifully served by attentive staff in lovely surroundings.obviously this hotel is under re furbishment,the main dining room and bar have been tastefully done my only complaint was that the dining room is in the middle of the hotel with no view and the gardens are lovely and it would have been nice to look out
