Barnsgate Manor - Uckfield

We came to Barnsgate Manor for our sixth form Christmas Party and the whole event was so memorable. All the staff were so welcoming and helpful throughout the entire evening. The set up and decorations were beautifully done and all of the food was fantastic. Everyone had the most wonderful evening and we would love to return in the future.

We held our wedding at Barnsgate Manor in July, and I can honestly say that it was perfect from beginning to end. We are incredibly grateful to Gary and the entire staff for their outstanding service. The food and drinks were exceptional, and many of our guests echoed this sentiment. Everything was handled professionally, which gave us peace of mind throughout the entire experience. We highly recommend choosing this venue for your wedding. We’re sure you won’t be disappointed!

The prices are reasonable, and the presentation of the food is lovely, although the taste doesn't quite match its appearance. For example, the fried potatoes were cooked but a bit too hard in the middle. Other dishes had a similar issue. It seems they might benefit from a larger kitchen to better handle their busy periods. On the positive side, the staff is well-trained and puts in a lot of effort. Overall, a solid experience with room for improvement.

This place is more beautiful, peaceful, and quiet than I expected. We held our team leadership course here, and the service and food were outstanding.

I had bottomless coffee and coffee cake for £4.80, which was just what I needed after a long, wet bike ride. The staff were fantastic too; they welcomed my fellow cyclists and me with good spirits, humor, and attentive service. It certainly deserves a five-star rating, but since I usually give out five stars, I’ll be a bit more critical this time. The decor feels a bit outdated, and the restrooms are quite small. While the location is excellent, the building itself could use a more inspiring replacement.
