I brought the food here. I ate and got mushroom strawberry and was soooo delicious! I also have a hook from the Cashew Curry, which was also beautiful. My friend ordered the lens-curry and said it was amazing, I will definitely be back soon for the lens-curry. delicious!
I just asked from habit and she told me that all noodles are not vegan due to egg noodles.. does not look as if the menu had changed, it seems that these dishes were always non-vegan simply not marked in the menu. At a closer look, the dishes on this page are only called “veggie ramen” etc. not vegan. You also have yogurt in her smooth bowls? So be aware! But delicious food with many options! Nothing special, but fresh and beautiful. I like taxes already included in the price.
I ordered the protein shell and damn it really came with a lot of protein. Lentils, chickpeas, tofu and Edamame. A dream. In combination with the avocado dressing it is just perfect. My friend had a dragon fruit smoothie bowl and it made him happy and satisfied. We really enjoyed this restaurant.
Pumpkin Beetroot Cafe is a charming spot with delightful road-facing seating and a welcoming ambiance. The attentive staff provide swift service, and the menu offers reasonably priced dishes. If you're not fond of lizards, I'd recommend opting for the road-facing seats as there tends to be quite a few around. I was pleasantly surprised to discover a rejuvenating vegan Mango lassi, which I had been searching for, for quite some time. The Vegan Caprese was flavorful, though I believe the Tofu could have been stir-fried a bit to enhance its crispiness. The Lentil Burrito was appetizing and fulfilling enough for a single person. If you're in the Ubud area, I would definitely recommend checking out Pumpkin Beetroot Cafe.
