Ruby's Mexican - Tyler

Been in search of a goooood Mexican restaurant since oct 2021 here in Tyler (I?m Latina and from Chicago where there?s an authentic Mexican restaurant on every corner) so it?s pretty hard to find a place that compares ???? but THIS PLACE ????????????so delicious! I ordered the Doblados (Birria carne asada tacos) with rice and beans and it was phenomenal. I was taken back bythe cost of the meal but once I tried the food I realized I didn?t mind the cost when the flavor is this so so good! I?ve beento lots of Mexican places out here in Tyler (Mexico Lindo, don juans (both locations) jalapeño tree, villa Montez and themontez) just to name a few and while some of those places has a decent carne asada plate, honestly nothing compares to this! TRYTHEM! Also note that it seems the place is run by teenagers but they have visited the table multiple times to see if we neededanything. great service and even better food!

Great food. Food came out fairly quick and workers were attentive. Affordable prices. We are not from Tyler and tried local places, this is one of the good ones.

We went to Tyler state park last week and decided to try the local food so we decided to dine in at Ruby's. The food was okay just to used to have cheese in my tacos I should have mentioned it when ordering (I have dairy allergies) the portions were good and the food was brought to us quick.

Best tacos in town awesome staff and good customer service. At their busiest times wait is only like 10 mins
