Although they were short staff, Hannah's bubble personality prevailed and deserved a better experience. Warm bread with herbs was good, but it wasn't crispy in any way, it felt like it was warmed in the microwave salmon cake were good and the lemon and dill sauce really brought the taste. The Malibu coconut cloves were a little on the sweet side. Short rib melt was tasteful, some caramelized onions ended on the side next to the onion jam, but that was a mistake on my part. It increased the amount of fat in food. The homemade alaska dessert was pretty good, and the presentation was amazing. When she paired with the landscape outside the window, it looked great. Overall, I would say 4/5 stars.

The cheese of the French onion soup is amazing. Service is great. Food is not so interesting, but the view is incredible, and the bar chairs are low and soooo comfortable. So I have to give these 5 stars.
We stopped here on our way to Green Bay from Milwaukee. We arrived at 6:30 on a Saturday evening with reservations made on the road. We each had a mixed drink, blended perfectly. The food was very good and imaginative. I had salmon with a sweet chili glaze. My wife had a fried lake perch plate. Both came with excellent young green beans sauteed to a perfect soft snap to the bite without the toughness of the bigger beans. They were made from fresh, recently picked beans. We didn't have dessert but left satisfied. We have been here before, just passing through to someplace else. We've decided that it is worth the 45 minute trip to make the Water's Edge restaurant at the Lighthouse Inn our journey's destination. Try it. I think you'll agree.
This was a delightful!! The view from inside was 100% awesome. Staff was so kind, food was unbelievable. Traveling with 3 teen boys who all chose the meatloaf with Bourbon BBQ sauce and house curds. They loved it! I had coconut nut shrimp with a rum sauce...yum, so good
