Disappointing Paid $38.00 for 7 smaller shrimp and a bowl of rice covered in sauce.

Travelling around Newfoundland, it's easy to get tired of fried fish really fast.

We were returning from Fogo on the last ferry which means we wouldn't be back in Twillingate until a little after 9 pm. We were a party of 12 so we called to see if they could accommodate us. They told us they would stay open until we arrived. They were waiting for us when we arrived and offered to feed us with a variety of food for a fixed price per person. They explained some of the food they had which sounded good to us. Fish soup, creme of broccoli soup, stir fry, shrimp, salad, rolls, dessert and a bit of Lobster! After a long day touring Fogo it was perfect! We loved every bite! Highly recommended!

It is a small restaurant. you will notice that it is a restaurant/bistro of something special. we were very kindly greeted and have received a second table. we got a small card and we were told what special there is. we had salat (ceaser and green salat) and then a dish with rice, schrimps on a tomato sauce! the foods are all freshly prepared in the small kitchenette right behind the counter! the chefin is with ib and soul with it and it smells wonderful! it is also used fresh crimps. simply wonderful..We will certainly visit it again.

Thus little gem is well worth going out of your way for. We stayed two nights in Twillingate travelling through NFL. Not only is the food not fried (caught our attention right away) but this restaurant serves the best (local caught) crab we have ever tasted. Plus tasteful decour, patio, and very friendly service. Highly recommended for a sunset dinner.
