Gateway Family Restaurant - Tweed

My man and I ordered the Mother's Day especially and what a tasty bite! the strawberry, pecan, feta and spring mix salat was fresh and tasty. my man had the balsamico steak tie alfredo and said it was excellent. I ordered the lemon chicken and. it was a generous part and delicious. the actual star of the meal was however the homemade strawberry shortcake with real whipped cream and fresh strawberries. the part was huge, but my man and I threw him up! the next day my man came home from work and said: “I can’t stop thinking about this cake; it was so good!” we would like to order the cake for a special occasion, as every Sunday. thanks Gateway staff for a wonderful meal.

The breakfast was good and the waitress is friendly and when I went to pay, they overloaded me

Stopped here many times on way through. Stopped on Saturday th. The young lady was very freindly with the greeting and service. We arrived about AM and we order clubs instead of breakfast. They very good. Now, the bathrooms are in dire need...of not just a cleaning but complete over hall. Don't need to spend a lot. Vanity and floor is cheep. The men's room was nasty. Just makes you wounder what the behind the scene is like, kitchen? Two clubs and fries,two coffee and Tip

Food was average,nothing to rave about, went for lunch with our daughter. Our server was friendly but she was slow and screwed everything up from ordering to the bill, it wasn't busy and it wasn't just us, she also eves dropped on our conversation and...took the liberty to join in. I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend or discourage a visit, but I will not be returning. It was our first and last visit.

Everything was ok. Server was nice. Just happen to stop on way to Belleville. Probably would stop again.
