Ed's Cocktail Lounge - Twain Harte

It is definitely a place where everyone knows your name. The bartender Ani was friendly and she sees an old friend. I strongly recommend stopping when you are in downtown Twain Harte! Pull your heels up and relax....

This vintage bar in Twain Harte is your old bar with a variety of alcoholic drinks, along with pepsi and water. Payment by cash and they have a cash machine inside, along with a digital jukebox. It is kept clean and held inside and outside. Heating is the fireplace and in summer, swamp cooler. The building is connected to the Twain Harte Mountain Liquor Store in the city. The old Twain Harte Lodge, burnt down in 2002, is located on the left, opposite the 7-11 store. A beautiful, relaxed atmosphere, friendly and full of spirit and good people. Cigarette smoking is not allowed, but only on the rear terrace from the right exit door, past the toilets. Great place to visit or hang. Very recommended!!

It can be quickly overcrowded and not expect it to be perfect. It's an old building, but one of the few you can let go. You need more space to dance! Service was good, but don't go hungry.

May become violent from time to time after 10:00. I saw a nasty fist fight between three guys right in front of the bar that needed two Sheriff's deputies to break it up. Some people can't treat hard alcohol! Not gay friendly at all. Too bad about Ed's management. Rednecks are always welcome.

Fun bar in town with good atmosphere. We only stopped by while visiting town for the day and enjoyed our night out. Younger crowd with good music and a jukebox. Pretty much what you'd expect from the place!
